The U.S. Constitution ensures Americans' right to free speech, allowing them to question the government and express diverse opinions. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, federal officials started instructing social media platforms to target "misinformation," effectively censoring online speech indirectly on certain topics or viewpoints.

In response to these infringements on the First Amendment, the Advocates for Faith and Freedom joined with Liberty Justice Center in a lawsuit against Facebook. This federal case targets Facebook (now Meta), Twitter (now X), President Joe Biden, and U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. The Liberty Justice Center and Advocates for Faith and Freedom are representing data analyst and digital strategist Justin Hart, who faced multiple suspensions of his Facebook and Twitter accounts for sharing data and scientific research on COVID that challenged the perspectives endorsed by the Biden Administration.
