Advocates is representing former Trump aide, Garrett Ziegler, in a lawsuit Hunter Biden filed against him and his nonprofit organization, Marco Polo. The legal action stems from Marco Polo's comprehensive research and reporting on the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop. By publishing this information on its website, Marco Polo facilitated access for Congress and the public to conduct their own investigations. It can be argued that Garrett Ziegler and Marco Polo played a pivotal role in bringing to light the information that is now making headlines in the national news.
In Hunter Biden's lawsuit, it is claimed that Ziegler received a modified version of the laptop archive and subsequently engaged in further manipulation of its contents. Advocates attorney, Robert Tyler, stated to the press that Garrett only changed data that would ensure pornographic material was censored, “My client did not manipulate the data to change the facts, statements or misrepresent anything. Our client only censored some of the content as it relates to the pictures so that they wouldn’t be distributing pornographic material.”
In December 2023, Advocates for Faith and Freedom submitted a motion to dismiss Biden's lawsuit, contending that it lacks jurisdiction does not adequately present claims of computer fraud, and is being utilized to curtail Ziegler's freedom of speech.

Murrieta, CA – Garrett Ziegler, the defendant in a lawsuit filed by President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has retained Tyler Law LLP and Advocates for Faith and Freedom to represent him against the claims made by Biden.
Biden’s lawsuit claims that Ziegler, founder of the nonprofit research and investigative group Marco Polo, illegally published sensitive information obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop. The suit alleges that the information obtained by Ziegler was unlawfully obtained despite the fact that numerous copies of the laptop have been widely distributed to the media nationwide.
“Our client is being targeted by powerful elitists for his pivotal research and reporting that has helped Congress and hundreds of honest journalists come to an understanding of the Biden relationships and foreign compromise,” said Attorney Robert Tyler of Tyler Law LLP and Advocates for Faith and Freedom.
